On 4 March 2026, partners from across Europe gathered in Milan, Italy, for the Hope4Kids Work Package 8 Education and Training Meeting. Held at Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, the meeting brought together WP8 leaders, the co-leader, and task and co-task leaders to shape the next steps of the Hope4Kids project.
Developing education and training together
The in-person meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to exchange perspectives, strengthen collaboration and define the direction of their shared work. Presentations on the four WP8 tasks gave participants a shared understanding of the progress, priorities and planned activities within each area.
From discussion to action
Following the task presentations, partners took part in an open discussion before continuing their work in separate task groups. Each group then presented its ideas and proposed next steps to the wider team.
The meeting concluded with a summary of the day and a discussion of future plans, helping to align the different tasks and establish a clear direction for the next phase of WP8.
Meeting in person offered an important opportunity to deepen professional connections and build a shared vision for education and training in paediatric palliative care.
