WP5 provides a comprehensive overview of paediatric palliative care across Europe. WP5 maps national strategies, legislation, care models, service delivery, and digital solutions to identify good practices, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

WP6 develops evidence-based European guidelines for paediatric palliative care to help ensure that children and families receive high-quality, consistent care across Europe. It also creates a harmonised Individual Care Plan (ICP) template to support personalised, family-centred care.

WP7 tests innovative approaches to paediatric palliative care in different European countries. The pilot projects will evaluate how new care models, digital solutions, and holistic support can improve care for children and families, particularly in settings where paediatric palliative care is still developing.

WP8 strengthens knowledge and skills in paediatric palliative care by developing education and training (E/T) programmes for healthcare professionals, informal caregivers, and educators. WP8 also will raise public awareness of paediatric palliative care through information and communication activities
